FOUR TRANSLATIONS OF ONE HOUSE
Four translations of one house is the final project of my bachelor of architecture. The project studies the house I was currently living in through the model making medium. The architectural model, the miniature house, the photographs and the book are epistemic vessels that were used to express the house. As individuals they hold data but when put next to each other they enlighten inbetween-the-lines information. In some way the real house could not be itself anymore when not put in mise-en-abyme. A zany world that allowed the project to investigate the aesthetics of overlaying, unfolding, refolding, simulating and copying.
